World Cup 2022: Complete Schedule, Results, Standings and Top Scores

The 2022 Qatar World Cup takes place from the end of November to this December. All slots have been filled by the 32 best national teams. Based on the qualifying round, the OFC (Oceania) zone countries will not send any of their representatives in the grand tournament.

This was confirmed after the sole representative of the Oceania zone, namely New Zealand, had to be defeated by a team from the CONCACAF zone (North America) Costa Rica in the fight for the final ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

FIFA as the organizer divides the 32 countries into 8 groups starting from A to H. In the group stage we will witness a number of interesting matches such as the early morning final between Germany and Spain in Group E, Ghana's revenge against Uruguay in the quarter-final match of the 2010 World Cup South Africa in Group H, and several matches against surprising teams such as Costa Rica and Denmark.

The first World Cup in the Middle East region could have been the last stage for gridiron actors like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The Megastar Duo will fight it out to win a sacred gold plated trophy to complete their trophy collection and personal record.

Lionel Messi and his friends must face Poland, Mexico and Saudi Arabia in group C, while Ronaldo and Portugal will face South Korea, Uruguay and Ghana in the race for the last eight tickets. Check out the group division and the Qatar 2022 World Cup preliminary schedule on the next page.
